Request a Speaker: Disability Resource Center

Request a Training: Student Care and Outreach

Request a Workshop: Student Development

The goal of this workshop is to support faculty in developing an integrated curriculum that fosters student development and learning. Consider requesting this workshop if you are redesigning courses or entire curriculum maps. Request a Program: University Health Center

Request a program for a group or class on varying wellness topics or on alcohol and sexual assault prevention. Submit a request through the University Health Center.

Request a Consultation: Student Conduct

Request a Presentation: Student Conduct

Request a Consultation: LGBT Ambassadors

If you need help learning more about affirming spaces, need a person to talk to about an experience, or need someone who can listen to you, then the ambassadors are the people for you. Submit a request through the LGBT Resource Center.

Request a Training: Safe Space

The Safe Space program at UGA is for faculty, staff, and students who are interested in learning about gender and sexual identity, homophobia, heterosexism, and how they can provide support and work toward being an ally for the LGBT community. Submit a request through the LGBT Resource Center.

Attend a Workshop: An LGBTQ Primer, Creating an Inclusive Community

The class discusses what it means to identify as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender or Queer (LGBTQ) and how to create a more inclusive culture within the UGA community for LGBTQ-identified students, faculty and staff. Sign up through Training and Development.

Request a Speaker: Service Ambassadors

ServeUGA Service Ambassadors lead service experiences and serve as resources for their peers in order to make a positive impact on campus and in the community. Attend Events During International Education Week (November)

The US Department of State and Department of Education created International Education Week (IEW) to promote the benefits of international education and worldwide exchange. Contact Justin Jeffery, Director of International Student Life: jsj@uga.edu.

Attend International Coffee Hour (Fridays)

Coffee Hour is a weekly program that brings UGA students, faculty, staff, and community members together over coffee and international cuisine. Contact Justin Jeffery, Director of International Student Life: jsj@uga.edu.

Attend Cultural Nights ($)

ISL student organizations host evenings of culture that showcase a variety of global traditions, customs, performances, and culinary delights – a wonderful way to travel around the world without leaving Athens. Contact Justin Jeffery, Director of International Student Life: jsj@uga.edu.

Reserve Space for your Class or Department Student Organization

Student Affairs spaces are available for you to reserve. Consider reserving the Intersection (Tate), Adinkra Hall (Memorial) or other rooms in the Tate Student Center, including exhibition spaces. Visit UGA’s reservation system.
