February, 2014

Happy 2014!

It is wonderful to begin another year at the University of Georgia! There is a special magic about this University, and I am incredibly honored by the opportunity to lead and contribute to a place and community that mean so much to all of us.

It has been an exciting and inspiring few months as I have begun my new role as Vice President for Student Affairs. As has been affirmed for me many times, we have amazingly talented students and staff and extraordinary opportunities in UGA Student Affairs.

One of those opportunities that I continue to push forward is to share our story. This Enewsletter is one of a number of ways that we will be highlighting student successes and our efforts across the division and the campus to make our great university even better. I am truly thankful for each of you and the innumerable contributions you make daily, both seen and unseen, that help to make UGA a dynamic and welcoming learning environment that enables our students to flourish.

May 2014 find you, your family and all those you cherish safe and enjoying what life has to offer. I look forward to our efforts in the coming year to share our story and enhance UGA together.

Be well,

Victor K. Wilson
