September, 2014
In Full Motion
What an amazingly fun and busy start to the new academic year we have had. From a fantastic Hunker Down with Housing, where we moved in more than 8,000 students to the residence halls, to welcoming events across Student Affairs, UGA is truly alive with student activity.
It is always special to watch Athens and the UGA campus burst to life with the return of fall classes and student happenings.
As you will read in our Student Affairs Annual Report below, all of this activity includes some spectacular efforts by our Student Affairs team over the last year to enhance the learning environment for students. I am proud of these accomplishments and all the great staff members who brought them to fruition. Thus, I am thrilled to share them with you.
It is an incredibly exciting time to be at UGA and in Student Affairs. Welcome back students, and onward to an amazing and even better school year!
Be well,
Victor K. Wilson
