Looking to Innovate
As I hope you gleaned from our recent Annual Update, there are numerous successes across Student Affairs in enriching student learning and supporting student development and growth at UGA. I am deeply proud of these accomplishments and the hard work of our talented staff they represent.
Along with these daily efforts, we are always looking for new and improved ways to impact the lives of our students. To assist in this, I am excited for the launch of our new Student Affairs Innovate Teams. Later this year, our Innovate Teams will bring together staff from across the division to work together in a concentrated setting on new initiatives to benefit students. These intensive collaborations promise to meld ideas, talents, and leadership from diverse areas to create new opportunities.
I encourage all of our staff to consider joining an Innovation Team—and to continue to look for those opportunities in your daily work—to inspire students anew and help to lead us forward.
